Setting up a new Personal Email Address on Blackberry Smartphone

A Guide to Setting Up a Personal Email Address on a Blackberry Smartphone.

Setting up a new pop3 or IMAP email address (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail etc.) on a Blackberry is very straightforward, but always make sure that a Blackberry tariff has been set up on your handset and make sure that the EDGE, GRPS, 3G in the top right hand corner of the screen is in capital letters.

Firstly you will need the IMEI and PIN of the Blackberry handset. Go to one of the sites listed below; choose the network that you are on; and set up a new account.

Vodafone - (Blackberry BIS - https://bis.eu.blackberry.com/html?brand=vodauk)
T-Mobile - (Blackberry BIS - http://www.instantemail.t-mobile.co.uk/)

Once the account is set up you will be asked to enter your email address and password. Once this information is entered and submitted your email address will be added. Within a few seconds your blackberry will receive a activation email confirming that your new email address is live on the handset.

From this site you can also Edit your email, Reply To addresses, Auto BCC:, and Signatures.

Alternatively you can set an email up on the device itself; follow the instructions on the video below.
